Freedom comes with real sacrifices, including the lives of those who serve. Similarly,

- Freedom to live as we wish is not free.
- Freedom to raise our children in peace is not free.
All this to say, we must work hard on our own liberation from toxic patterns and relationships, including co-parenting, marriages, and family of origin dynamics. Otherwise, we end up living in self- imposed mental prisons, albeit golden ones.
